New Way Missions organizes short-term projects for ADULTS, rather than youth. We are adults and believe that adults bring skills and experience that are greatly needed on the mission field.

We don't do "cookie cutter" projects! We will work with you to help your particular short-term team make a long-term difference by planning projects which touch people and communities in holistic ways - spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically.

We link skilled adults with national Christians and their communities and give them the resources to become change-agents and beacons of hope. We can help by:

teaching better health habits,e.g., good nutrition, basic hygiene
holding medical/dental clinics for people who can't afford to pay
building latrines and teaching communities how to keep them clean
helping educate communities about domestic violence, alcohol and drug abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, etc.
teaching better agricultural techniques
helping budding entrepreneurs learn the skills of small business.

We can help communities become beacons of hope by:

encouraging local believers by worshipping with them and praying for them
teaching lay people how to lead Bible studies
helping pastors gain preaching/teaching skills

We prepare you by providing various materials, e.g., team preparation manual, health teaching curriculum, cross-cultural insights, vacation Bible school curriculum, Bible study aids, etc.

We provide logistics. We take care of details regarding lodging, food, transportation, translators so your group can concentrate on effective ministry.

We go with you! (except on Individual projects) A New Way Project Leader will help you minister on-site.

We strongly believe in building equal partnerships with the national Christian groups with whom we minister. We may have more material and knowledge resources, but they have much to teach us about love, faith, worship, trust, sensitivity and relationships.

We will take a group as small as 10 (and we can combine folks from 2 or more churches to make up this number).

We will work to link individuals who feel called to the mission field with agencies/churches that need their skills.
